Committee service is a very important part of Twaalfskill’s success. Please consider volunteering some time into the following one or more standing committees. Your commitment can be for a particular program and for the full year.
House Committee: This committee is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the clubhouse and the grounds surrounding it. It oversees the food and beverage operations and the clubhouse’ social events. It monitors service and quality levels to insure that member expectations are being met. It also helps set up and approve the events calendar.
Membership Committee: is responsible for reviewing new member applications. It also oversees the conduct of current members and is responsible for maintaining good relations between the members and the club, to ensure their expectations are being met and that they are being treated with respect by all employees of the club. It is accessible to hear member’s complaints or any dissatisfactions and will do its best to rectify any unhappy situations.
Golf Committee: This committee works closely wit the golf pro and staff to help coordinate leagues, local and outside tournaments. It establishes rules and procedures for assigning handicaps. It also establishes local rules and enforces them.
Greens Committee: This committee takes on the task of ensuring that the course including fairways, tees and greens are maintained on a daily basis. It works closely with the greens superintendent and golf professional in managing all areas of the course as well as safeguarding the assets and the members from harm. This committee aslo oversees golf course conditions and works with the superimntendent on landscaping, beautification and special projects.
Finance Committee: This committee is responsible for securing and maintaining fiscal responsibility of the Club’s assets. It helps set and oversee the budget and recommends ways to generate additional revenue.
Pool Committee: This committee has charge of the pool and the area surrounding it. It is in charge of the maintenance, hiring and firing of pool personnel, guest registration, pool locker room areas, and the establishment of rules for pool operations
